The basis of this paper draws on current work due to the Thematic Network for Teacher Education in Europe (TNTEE). basically since 1996, Sub network E of TNTEE has focused research and acceleration on the role of Didaktik and Fachdidaktik( en) ("issue related didactics") as well as Bereichsdidaktik( durante) (Didactics of numerous learning areas) And their potential to contribute to the improvement of the quality of teaching/studying/learning processes both in schools and also in teacher education.
